Breed: DSH
Sex: Male
Neutered: No

Bandit was brought in as yet another stray with his "Brother" Smokey. Bandit is a shy guy but very sweet. Bandit can't wait for a forever home!

Male cats should be neutered by six months of age.

Neutering male cats:

  • Reduces the urge to roam, mate, spray and fight
  • Protects against diseases of the reproductive system
  • Reduces the serious pet overpopulation problem
  • Prevents inconveniences to owners
  • Makes cats calmer and get along better

The Miramichi SPCA requires that you commit to neutering your pet upon adoption, should it not already be altered.
Failure to do so may result in repossession of the animal.

Casper is an 8 month old neutered male who arrived back in July 2016. They have become fast friends and with both being shy we think they can use each other to overcome their fears. Both are very sweet cats once given the time to warm up to you.

Rocky

Opie

Opie is an approx. 6 year old neutered male who arrived at the shelter in February with a very sad story. Due to scratching his former owner, he was confined to a bedroom for the last 3 years with one small window to look out of. Seeing a person once a day to get moved into a bathroom so his food/water and litter could be replenished. As you can imagine Opie has some trust issues. He doesn't like a lot of activity around him as he has become accustomed to living quietly. He also is not a fan of other male cats (this may change as he was just recently neutered). Opie would be best suited in an adult only quiet home.
