My name is Myrtle and I was surrendered as a stray along with 8 other cats. I am acery social, affectionate kitten who would do well in any home.

Harry has the same birth date and arrival date and same surrender information. Myrtle is more outgoing, Harry is more independent and reserved. But they love to play together and snuggle! They are both on a diet of gastro food which may or may not need to be continued once in a new home and settled.

Male cats should be neutered by six months of age.

Neutering male cats:

  • Reduces the urge to roam, mate, spray and fight
  • Protects against diseases of the reproductive system
  • Reduces the serious pet overpopulation problem
  • Prevents inconveniences to owners
  • Makes cats calmer and get along better

The Miramichi SPCA requires that you commit to neutering your pet upon adoption, should it not already be altered.
Failure to do so may result in repossession of the animal.

Ace

My name is Vern and I was surrendered when my owner could no longer care for me. I like attention but I am not always sure of myself and can act out when my anxiousness takes over. I can't wait to be out of here and in a home again as going from a family to a shelter is very stressful!

Myrtle & Harry (Pair)

Opie is an approx. 6 year old neutered male who arrived at the shelter in February with a very sad story. Due to scratching his former owner, he was confined to a bedroom for the last 3 years with one small window to look out of. Seeing a person once a day to get moved into a bathroom so his food/water and litter could be replenished. As you can imagine Opie has some trust issues. He doesn't like a lot of activity around him as he has become accustomed to living quietly. He also is not a fan of other male cats (this may change as he was just recently neutered). Opie would be best suited in an adult only quiet home.

My name is Grey and I came in as a stray. I was in very bad shaped, matted, fight wounds and some of them were infected. I have since been shaved and my wounds have healed. I just need a home now where I can lay around now and enjoy the pampered life. I do need a home with no small kids though as I can be a bit nippy when I want my space.
