Kittens (under 6 months old)

Kittens should be spayed or neutered by six months of age.

Spaying and neutering:

  • Prevents unwanted litters
  • Reduces the urge to roam, mate, spray and fight
  • Protects against diseases of the reproductive system
  • Reduces the serious pet overpopulation problem
  • Prevents inconveniences to owners

The Miramichi SPCA requires that you commit to spaying/neutering your pet upon adoption, should it not already be altered.
Failure to do so may result in repossession of the animal.

My name is Garland and I was surrendered as a feral kitten but have since warmed up to people. I enjoy playing and pats but prefer not being picked up. Therefore, I am best suited to a home with older children who can respect my wishes.
